Immunizations
You want what's best for your child and family. Vaccinations from preventable diseases like measles or whooping cough are safe, effective, and protect your children, family, and others who you care about. Berrien County Health Department Public Health Nurses serve you by providing and distributing the immunizations you need to be protected from vaccine preventable diseases. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends routine vaccination to protect against several vaccine-preventable diseases that occur in infants, children, adolescents, and adults.
Influenza & Flu Clinics
The single best way to protect yourself and your family against the flu is to get vaccinated each and every year. Everyone 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine. The Berrien County Health Department provides flu shots for children, adults, and seniors at various flu clinics and by appointment throughout the flu season. Walk-in appointments for flu shots are welcomed on Fridays in the Niles and Benton Harbor offices starting October 12th, 2018.
